Banta, Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society to Host Arrowhead Hunt
April 13, 2026
HARRISBURG – Rep. Jake Banta (R-Erie) is partnering with the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society to offer an Arrowhead Hunt on Saturday, May 2, starting at 9 a.m. at the Fort LeBoeuf Museum.
The day will begin with a tour of the museum and learning about the history of the area before beginning the search for arrowheads on the grounds along the French Creek.
“I love living in this area of the state and am always interested in learning as much as possible about the history of Erie County,” said Banta. “The land we will search has a lot of arrowheads waiting to be found, and it is always a thrilling discovery. I will also be available to talk about any state government concerns attendees may have.”
The museum is located at South High St. in Waterford. The hunt will be held rain or shine. Those attending should prepare for the weather and dress accordingly. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Please RSVP at RepBanta.com/events or call 814-796-7375.
