HARRISBURG – After hosting several successful Hard-to-Read License Plate events, Rep. Jake Banta (R-Erie) is teaming up with the Edinboro Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police to help constituents who have license plates that have become difficult to read.
The event will be held Monday, July 29, from 4-6 p.m. at the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department, 125 Meadville St, in Edinboro.
“I am excited for the opportunity to help area residents,” said Banta. “A license plate is deemed illegible when one or more numbers or letters cannot be recognized from 50 feet away. If your license plate is blistered, peeling, damaged, discolored or lost its reflectivity, this opportunity will help you get a brand-new plate at no cost to you.”
Drivers must bring along their unexpired Pennsylvania driver’s license and current vehicle registration card.
