Banta Working to Reconnect Unclaimed Property with Rightful Owners
NORTH EAST – In an effort to reconnect citizens with unclaimed property, Rep Jake Banta (R-Erie) is hosting an unclaimed property event.
Banta’s office will be partnering with the Office of State Treasurer Stacy Garrity to help residents recover what may be theirs at no cost. A representative from Treasury will be at Banta’s North East district office on Thursday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to assist. The office is located at 8 South Lake St., North East.
“According to Treasury, one in every 10 Pennsylvanians has property waiting to be reclaimed,” said Banta. “Constituents could be missing tangible assets such as jewelry, military medals, bonds or other physical items. We want to give them the opportunity to obtain what is rightfully theirs.”
